At this hands-on workshop, you will learn the secrets to successful pie-making with flaky crusts (including 100% freshly milled option), how to create a lattice top and edgings, dessert pies and miniature pot pies, how to make ahead and freeze your pies for baking later, and how to prepare a frozen pie.
Flaky crusts = delicious pies! Recipes include both dessert and entrée pies. Pie served at the class. 😊
Bring a 9” pie plate, as you will be filling it with your own homemade (organic) pie crust — plus an extra dough ball to take home for a 2-crust pie, or another single crust pie — or to freeze and use later.
