FAQs & How to Book a Class

How Does Class Scheduling Work?

Classes at Dianna’s Kitchen are customer driven. In other words, YOU decide what class you want. Talk with your family and friends and see where their interests lie, then contact me. We’ll find a date and put it on the calendar. You might choose to be the coordinator and represent a group — your family and/or friends. Learning together is best!

What is the Minimum Number Required to Schedule a Class?

With the exception of Private Classes, the minimum to hold a class is 6 people. If you have a group of four who are definitely interested, go ahead and pre-register via the payment tab for the class of your choice. I’ll talk with the coordinator in your group regarding the day and time that works best for your group. So to meet the minimum of 6, I’ll send out an announcement to open the class to others who would like to join.

What is the Maximum Number of People who can Attend a Class?

Generally, 8 is the maximum — with some exceptions where the class can be larger because it is not a hands-on kitchen event.

How Do I Pre-Register?

Simply go to the Class of your choosing and click on the button and make payment. I’ll get a notification and follow up with the coordinator to find a day and time that works for you and your group. Pre-payment can be made through CashApp, Venmo, snail mail, or simply stopping by.

What Days are Classes Held?

Best days to schedule classes are Tuesday through Saturday. A daytime class generally begins at noon or later. Evening classes begin no later than 5 pm and are finished at 8 pm.

Where are Classes Held?

Classes are local and held here in my home in the small town of Brook Park, MN.

How are Cancellations Handled?

Due to the nature of the minimum number of attendees to hold a class, we cannot give refunds. However, if something comes up and you cannot make it, your registration for that Class is transferable to a friend or family member. We handle it in this way so that the “show will go on” and others won’t be disappointed that the class had to be cancelled due to falling below the minimum requirement.

What about Bad Weather?

In the event of inclement weather that can happen during Minnesota winters, all registrations are returned. Another option is that your group may choose to reschedule the class.
