


Sourdough 101
All the basics for learning sourdough will be covered at this class: Why sourdough is healthier and how the sourdough process “changes the grain.” We’ll cover the history of “what happened to the wheat” and guidelines to follow when choosing flour for your sourdough adventures. You will have hands-on feeding your starter and learn how to maintain a healthy starter. I will demonstrate how to make an easy, artisan loaf, followed by hands-on in the kitchen where you’ll make freshly milled pancakes. Be sure to bring a pint or Mason jar to take home your fresh, organic starter. Packet with additional recipes included.
